iPhone radio streaming
The iPhone has exploded in popularity and is a great device for listening to Internet radio and even playing live HTTP streaming video. Previous versions of the iPhone however did not support direct streaming of SHOUTcast streams in Safari. Now with the release of the iPhone 3.0 OS all has changed. You can now stream direct to Safari without any additional software.
ProRadioStreaming provide everything you need to get your station streaming onto the iPhone. We can take an existing radio stream and transcode this live to a lower bitrate mp3 or aacPlus stream or simply broadcast your station over our content delivery network to the iPhone.
Key features:
- No app required by the listener
- Quick start
- Simple to use
- Full realtime statistics including geo location
- Can use your existing web radio stream as the source
If you have an iPhone, have a listen to Slinky.fm’s SHOUTcast stream. Just navigate to the URL below.
If you don’t have access to an iPhone, this is what the display looks like. (click on image to view large version)
